I think we used to go from Victoria Station to Blackpool for a day trip. I lived in Fallowfield and several streets clubed together. Children all had names etc written on a piece of paper which was pinned to clothes. We used to travel by steam train from Fallowfield Station to Blackpool, but no idea when or why that stopped. I was born in 1946 and lived in Fallowfield until I moved in 1970. My mum lived there until 2004 when she moved away.
