Does anyone else remember this 'sweet' delicacy?
Coconut shreds coloured golden brown and very, very sugary, mmmm!, de-lish and if you could get off your head on this stuff why bother progressing to the real stuff :]
If I remember correctly I think it was even supplied in very realistic packing resembling a grown up's tobacco pouch.
How PC is that?

Oh yes, simply lovely. They also lasted longer if you ate 1 strand at a time.
The Olde Sweet Shop sells it in my neck of the woods
