The Clash 1985

Nicky "Topper" Headon's expulsion from the band for his heroin addiction began the demise of The Clash. His absence uncovered tensions that had been growing between Mick Jones and Joe Strummer. The replacement drummer that had been brought in quickly departed thanks to their constant in-fighting and Jones himself quit the band when his music-loving pals ended up brawling with security staff at a gig.
