I'm embarrassed to say that I live on Dartmoor, but I have not yet visited this hostelry. Mind you, we have a bank holiday on Monday ~ so I may just rectify that!!

Visited The warren last year after a long absence. The pub has not changed a bit. The atmosphere is bril, food devine and the fire keeps on burning. If you drive past without stoping you will miss one of the wanders of the moors.

Love this place after a good dog walk - biggest and best beer garden in the country!
Used to drink Guinness here nearly every day in spring - summer of 1971 when on teaching practice at Kelly College Tavistock. It was then run by a lovely chap named Basil. I was a student at St Lukes Exeter and would make it up onto the Moor in my ancient Mini "Sebastian" and back via a few walls to my digs. Happy days!
