Transport - QEII Launch - John Brown's Yards, Clydebank 1967

The Queen had just named the liner "Queen Elizabeth II" which failed to move immediately after the launching ceremony at John Brown's Yard, Clydebank. They all joined in the laughter when a man hanging over the bow, high above the launching platform, shouted "Give us a push". Afterwards the liner glided down the slipway and thus was launched 58,000 ton 25,500,000 vessel.
