A wooden life-size statue of Tutankhamun in the British Museum, in London. 02/08/00: The Egyptian pharaoh was pear-shaped and suffered from a disease which left him with large fatty hips, a British scientist revealed. * Tutankhamun had a 31in chest, 29in waist and 43in hips, according to scientists in Leiden, Holland, conducting an eight-year research project on his clothes.
