Bucking the trend, the fishing port of Whitby is taking on apprentice fishermen to make sure it remains one of the few thriving towns still maintaining a strong fishing industry. Among the first batch of trainees are Chris Hall, Tim Cole, James Locker and James Spark down at the harbour today (Mon), as they prepare for their first trip to sea as apprentices.
